20-2021 School Plan

Our first priority is always the health and welfare of our students and community, and our decisions continue to be based on the facts and mandates from federal, state, and local agencies including the Center for Disease Control, the Massachusetts Department of Health, Massachusetts Department of EducationMassachusetts Department of Early Education , New England Association of Schools and Colleges, as well as the State of Massachusetts Department of Human Services. In holding true to our commitment to keep our students healthy and safe, we have created a diversified staged plan to respond rapidly and efficiently as the COVID-19 situation evolves. To have a successful school year, we will all have to be problem-solvers, flexible and responsive, and willing to course-correct as necessary.  We recognize our school community and families have faced many challenges through these uncertain times; we also know how much your children have been missing their teachers, their school, and their friends. We are also absolutely committed to making sure that we approach teaching and learning safely and with the health and well-being of our community as the highest focus.

With proper preparations, and a clear plan in place, we know that the Sparhawk community can easily transition between on-campus and distance learning without disruptions to the quality of education that families expect from us. In holding true to our commitment to keep our students healthy and safe, we have created a diversified plan to be able to respond rapidly and efficiently as the COVID-19 situation evolves.
